Stay Informed, Play Worry-Free: Terms and Conditions Explained

Safety, Acknowledgment, Consent, and Assumption of Risk: 

  • Before participating in the games, all Red Scorpion Laser Tag participants must acknowledge and agree to play. Participants under the age of 18 require parental or guardian consent. All participants, parents, and guardians of players under 18 need to be aware of the inherent risks involved in such activities.
  • All players must adhere to the rules explained by the Battlefield Commanding Officer on the day.
  • Please ensure that sturdy enclosed footwear is worn during the games. Bare feet or thongs are not allowed.
  • For the safety of everyone, please keep family pets away from the playing area.
  • When selecting a playing area, ensure it is separate from swimming pools and secured by appropriate, locked pool fencing.
  • Except for Vacation Care sessions and KRANK sessions, players must be at least six years old.

Parking, Set Up, and Council’s Permission:

  • We will arrive at the designated location one hour before the scheduled start time. Please arrange for someone to meet us upon arrival to ensure we are in the correct spot and discuss any necessary arrangements. If no one is present, it may cause delays in setting up and impact the available play time.
  • For laser tag parties with inflatables in public parks, there is an additional $55 charge for our extra setup. This fee is not imposed by the Council but by us. The customer’s responsible for contacting the local Council, arranging applicable fees, and gaining necessary permissions when utilising public space. If Council approval is not obtained, refunds will not be provided. We can provide a copy of our $20 million Public Liability Insurance Certificate if required.
  • To facilitate smooth operations, it is essential to have parking available in close proximity to the event location, ideally within a 20-meter radius. Since our equipment is bulky and heavy, event organisers must ensure access for our vehicle to the battlefield. Please ensure you have gate keys or boom gates codes, allowing us convenient entry. Any additional parking costs that may arise will be the client’s responsibility.

Pricing and Payment:

  • All prices include GST.
  • A deposit of 50% is required to confirm your booking and reserve your preferred date and time. Bookings are made on a first-come, first-serve basis. Payment options include:
    • Bank Transfer
    • Credit Card Payments (Visa, MasterCard, and American Express accepted).

We do not charge additional fees for credit card processing for online transactions or mobile EFTPOS payments.

  • The standard pricing applies to events within 50km from Southport 4215 Qld (Gold Coast). An additional travel fee may be required if the event location is more than a 100 km round trip from our depot in Southport Qld (calculated via Google Maps).

Bad Weather, Event Rescheduling and Cancellation:

  • Despite potential inaccuracies in weather forecasts, we will always honour our scheduled bookings, even in unfavourable weather conditions. We will assess the situation on the event day and decide whether to proceed or reschedule. Light rain generally does not hinder our activities, but in the case of heavy showers, we may take a break until the rain subsides.
  • If you come across a concerning forecast, we can discuss the option of rescheduling the party for another available date. Please note that this is subject to availability and consideration of other scheduled parties. Kindly inform us of your preference, and we will accommodate your request accordingly.
  • Laser Tag events can be cancelled at no cost if you notify us seven days or earlier. If cancellation occurs less than seven days before the event, the 50% deposit will be forfeited.
  • For Vacation Care incursions and School Events, cancellations within 45 days of the booked date may not be eligible for a deposit refund.
  • Changes to the day or time of a Laser Tag event can be made at no cost if we receive the request at least seven days before the event. Changes made less than seven days before the event may incur a 50% fee. A re-booking fee of $180 may apply to changes in Vacation Care sessions and School Events.
  • Vacation Care – Venue Preference: An indoor location for Vacation Care incursions is advisable to ensure the children’s safety. Direct exposure to sunlight, heat and other weather conditions may pose risks. Therefore, we recommend choosing a standard multifunctional hall as the most suitable venue for these activities.
 

KRANK Laser Tag Sessions – Special Terms and Conditions:

 
1. Booking opens on Monday, 11 December 2023, at 9:00 AM.
2. This event is exclusively for Logan Residents and is FREE as part of the KRANK school holiday program. Each family can book up to 4 slots.
3. To secure your spot, please use the Booking Form on our website. You must also download the Registration form from this link, fill it out, and send it to info@redscorpion.com.au.
4. Bookings made without a completed Registration Form will not be considered valid.
5. For additional information, please visit www.logan.qld.gov.au/krank.
6. Before participating in the games, all participants of Red Scorpion Laser Tag must acknowledge and accept the terms of play. Participants under 18 years of age require parental or guardian consent. Parents and guardians of players under 18 must be aware of the inherent risks associated with such activities. By submitting the Registration Form, parents or guardians indicate their agreement to these Terms and Conditions.
7. All players must adhere to the rules provided by the Commanding Officer on the event day.
8. It is mandatory to wear sturdy enclosed footwear during the games. Bare feet or thongs are not permitted for safety reasons.
9. To ensure the safety of everyone, please keep family pets away from the playing area.
